1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the As Working Mamas platform ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our Platform.

2. Who Can Use the Platform

As Working Mamas is a community for working mothers and individuals who support working families. By registering, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years old
• The information you provide is accurate and truthful
• You will use the Platform in accordance with these Terms

3. Account Registration

You may register using your email address or via Google/Apple sign-in. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Membership & Features

All features of the As Working Mamas platform — including community access, the professional network, event creation, and article publishing — are available to every member free of charge. No paid subscription is offered or required.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of content you post on the Platform. By posting, you grant As Working Mamas a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and distribute your content within the Platform. You agree not to post content that is:

• Illegal, harmful, threatening, or harassing
• Defamatory, obscene, or discriminatory
• Spam, misleading, or fraudulent
• In violation of third-party intellectual property rights

6. Community Guidelines

We expect all members to treat each other with respect and kindness. The Platform is a safe space for working mothers. Harassment, bullying, hate speech, or any form of discriminatory behaviour will result in immediate account suspension or termination.

7. Intellectual Property

All Platform design, branding, and original content created by As Working Mamas is protected by intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

As Working Mamas provides the Platform on an "as is" basis. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including interactions with other members or third-party services.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Portugal.
